1911 are alike cars. most have similar functions and parts, however they cost from a few hundred bucks to thousands. prices are determined by the brands, material quality, and workmanships. prices are also determined by the location of manufactures, shipping fees, and taxes.
1911 pistols were invented before ww2 and have been used by soldiers and fighters in many countries. Until now, they are still effective fighting tools which pack great firepower to blow off a person's head.

This is one of my favorite. A Taurus PT 1911. has the same features as many other 1911's, but at a lower price.
Anyway, this product is being produced in Brazil.

Kimber specialist in producing 1911 pistols. However they may cost above 1000USD. I heard that the parts are finely polished, and it's details finely observed.

Rock Island armory makes 1911s which cost much lesser than Taurus product. i have no idea where this manufacturing plant is located.

finally, this is Ed-Brown's product. this company started as a Brown's family business. now they make customized guns and scrutinize individual detail for perfection. this explains why $1000 isn't enough to buy from them.
there are countless 1911 manufactures in the world who compete to sell their best products and impress consumers. individual gun is special. if i am a buyer, i am shrouded with choices, it will be difficult to make a specific choice.

Anyway, people traditionally use hardball .45ACP to shoot from their 1911. the bullet is usually a fat, round chunk of lead.
on the left, is a full metal jacket bullet, because it is coated by a copper covering.
